How much packaging and waste do you contribute to the landfill each week in your dustbin?
It can be alot of hard work, it's more than recycling paper and glass. We spend a couple of hours a week doing our recyling and have got it to a level that our wheelie bin goes out a quarter full once a fortnight. We know that it takes time but all the effort you put into not filling up the land sites, means that there will be less land contamination for your future generations.

When you shop consciously purchase goods with less packaging and where you can buy in bulk. Not only are you reducing the amount of packaging you will save money!!
Two for the price of one!!

If you can, compost kitchen and gardening waste. This means that you are not only reducing the rubbish for the dustman, you will get some great compost as well.
There are many types of compost bins, we have a homemade one and one we got from the local garden centre, it was cheap as our local council are subsidising them.
You can find out where you can purchase these from your local council, or if you are into DIY you can make your own bespoke one, if you need any tip's please ask.
